Carlos Beltran Trade?

New York Mets general manager Sandy Alderson is narrowing the field on possible destinations for outfielder Carlos Beltran(notes), sources said Wednesday. The following teams are believed to be the Philadelphia Phillies, Boston Red Sox, Atlanta Braves, San Francisco Giants, Milwaukee Brewers and, perhaps, the New York Yankees.

I think another team that should be looked into is The St. Louis Cardinals. The Cardinals have Colby Rasmus to trade along with a few prospects. If Carlos Beltran could move back to centerfield for the remainder of the season, that would give the Cardinals thre power hitters across the board in the outfield along with LAnce Berkman, who is also a swith hitter like Beltran, and Matt Holliday. With John Jay and Allen Craig coming off the bench, everyone would get enough days off for the playoff run.
